This webcam comes to you thanks to the Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue Organisation and it's sited at Bryn Poeth, their base is beneath the Carneddau and close to Llyn Ogwen on the A5. It looks towards Y Garn. |

The successful Glaslyn osprey breeding site in North Wales, is
managed by the RSPB - partners in Aren't Welsh Birds Brilliant!
HIgh expectations are mounting for the 2011 breeding season.
The striking male has arrived back early on Wednesday 16th March and was keening waiting for the female collecting up nesting material as well as calling out. The good news is that she has now arrived! first seen on Sunday 20th March early afternoon, so things are nicely on course. Go along to see live pictures on big screens + spotting scopes at the Osprey viewing site opening Monday 21st March, near Prenteg, Porthmadog.
